A Better Tomorrow understands that a person suffering from substance addiction may be afraid when making decisions on detox centers and drug intervention programs. Whether the choice is pills or cocaine, alcohol or marijuana, detox isn’t considered the best day of an addicts’ life; it’s obviously considered the worst. However, while many addicts fear the withdrawal off drugs and alcohol, a positive outcome intervention solves this problem in many ways. We focus in addiction and mental health issues plaguing the addicted because of a chemical dependency.

Positive Outcome Intervention has an expert staff of  interventionists who’re trained in many methods and techniques based upon the work of a director with over 1,000 successful interventions.

It first comes down to the addicted. The real problem is the addiction and not the addict. It’s often considered a disease as well, and not a personal failing. Simply, some are more apt to become addicted than others, for obvious reasons of mental and physical health issues. What an intervention does is raise the bar to a higher level, expecting a positive outcome through a well-conducted intervention. Whatever the stage the addict is at, whether they are beginning to show major mental or physical problems or have been for years, an intervention can solve the problem in various ways.

However, it’s understandable if you’re part of the family to say to them, “Just stop!” or “Just say no!” These rarely work out; you need someone outside of the family dynamics with a fresh eye and experience in handling all forms of addiction with all drugs and alcohol issues.

This isn’t meant to put your own abilities to help in question. The simple fact is, the majority of addicts will fail the first time, maybe the second and third too. In 1992 the success rate of people sent to treatment was 1 out of 10; 1 out of 10 were able to actually say clean and sober. But, the real news happened ten years later, in 2002. The success rate upped to 6 out of 10 addicts successfully staying clean and sober. One major factor is the expansion of drug rehab centers nationwide as well as substance abuse intervention. When used in conjunction, these services give the addicted a far better chance than most other forms.

Our interventionists can help because of expert training; we know a multitude of methods and techniques that have successfully worked by sending loved ones to treatment.

Without fail one after another agree to treatment, bags are packed, airplane tickets purchased and they are on their way to a positive future free of mind altering chemicals.
